About the Role
Truworths Careers is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Store Manager with proven retail management experience to lead store operations in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store
- Manage stock losses and ensure shrinkage is within company targets
- Drive sales performance to meet daily, weekly, and monthly turnover targets
- Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Monitor and control store expenses effectively
- Deliver world-class customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures
- Conduct and supervise hanger counts
- Perform regular spot checks at the service desk and fitting rooms
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- 3–5 years’ experience managing a fashion retail store
- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing a retail team
Competencies and Skills
- Computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word
- Excellent administration skills
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
- Effective leadership and motivational skills
- Customer service orientated
- Sales-focused and target driven
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels
