Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple Operations Managers, ensuring efficient and professional delivery of security services across client sites. This role reports to the Regional Manager and is responsible for client liaison, HR/IR matters, fleet management, expense control, investigations, and ensuring security officers are deployed in accordance with contractual requirements.
Minimum Requirements
• Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• PSIRA Grade A registered
• Valid driver’s licence with reliable own transport
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in the security industry
• At least 5 years’ experience in operational security management
• Competency in Firearm Act regulations and firearms for business purposes
• Staff management experience
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• No criminal record or pending cases
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System
• Strong planning, administration, interpersonal, and client liaison skills
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain strong relationships between Fidelity Security Services Group and clients
• Oversee Operations Managers to ensure contractual requirements are met
• Ensure security officers perform according to client and contractual standards
• Continuously evaluate service levels and provide recommendations for improvement
• Supervise and manage security staff across multiple sites
• Manage HR-related queries and disciplinary actions
• Handle administration, reporting, and operational matters efficiently
• Liaise daily with management and regional offices regarding operational issues
• Ensure timely submission of employment forms, incident reports, and general reports
• Investigate incidents and provide detailed reporting
• Maintain adherence to ISO 9001:2008 Management System standards
