About the Program
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls at the site level.
- Oversee key financial processes including inventory management, asset verification, payroll submissions, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain control accounts, support cost control initiatives, and facilitate month-end closure activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with operations, HR, and distribution teams to provide timely financial insights and support business objectives.
Accountabilities
Order to Cash Management
- Oversee driver shortages and conduct weekly/monthly review meetings.
- Manage credit notes, including approvals and SAP release.
- Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations and provide feedback for IDC.
- Manage freight order settlements and monthly journal clearing.
- Verify IDC commission calculations and assist with contract renewals.
Financial Management
- Lead all site finance activities related to month-end closure.
- Prepare monthly financial forecasts, updating weekly.
- Support site functional leads with productivity initiatives and delivery.
- Review and release purchase orders, following up on outstanding POs.
- Monitor operating costs weekly and monthly.
- Update and assist with sales and production reports, including key metrics such as yields and cost per unit.
- Maintain daily and monthly scorecards and financial reports, providing feedback to HODs.
Stock Management
- Monitor stock differences, reconcile with silos, and conduct weekly/monthly stock counts.
- Post stock discrepancies and monitor process orders and damaged goods settlements.
Payroll Management
- Monitor overtime and report on approvals/corrections.
- Submit manual payroll inputs and calculate driver commissions.
- Manage TES processes, including reporting, requisitions, approvals, and reconciliations.
Governance
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures aligned with enterprise control requirements.
- Execute weekly and monthly enterprise control activities.
Qualifications
- Financial Accounting qualification (B.Com or equivalent).
- 3–5 years of finance management experience; retail or FMCG exposure advantageous.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
- Attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to self-manage in a complex, matrix environment.
- Proficient in advanced Excel, SAP, and MS Power Apps.
