Job Overview

Sea Harvest Vacancies is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Administrator to support quality and compliance processes within the Quality Assurance Department. The role focuses on ensuring that all fish products meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards through effective coordination of inspections, management of compliance requirements, facilitation of sampling processes, and administration of order releases for both local and export markets.

Reporting Structure

Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager
Department: Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance and NRCS Coordination

  • Assist the HACCP Officer and QA team with all NRCS compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and submit documentation required for product approvals, permits, and inspections.
  • Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and export standards.

Inspection Coordination

  • Provide HACCP documentation when requested by clients or inspectors.
  • Prepare production areas and documentation for regulatory inspections.
  • Assist with addressing non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions where necessary.

Administrative Support

  • Use NAV systems to generate GRV purchase orders.
  • Process store expense requests for QA maintenance and cleaning departments.
  • Coordinate with service providers to calibrate instruments and maintain the accuracy of scales and measurement equipment.

Quality Records and Documentation

  • Maintain quality assurance records, registers, and compliance documentation.
  • Support the preparation of documentation required for vessel audits.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required within the department.

Requirements and Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the fishing or food production industry.
  • Knowledge of NRCS requirements and food safety regulations.
  • Food Safety certification is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage compliance documentation accurately.
