About the Program
FlySafair is seeking a dedicated Training Administrator to support the training department with administrative coordination, record management, and communication. The role ensures that training operations run efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
Job Description
The Training Administrator will act as the primary point of contact for training-related queries, ensuring efficient resolution and directing unresolved matters to the appropriate department. Key responsibilities include:
- Respond to and manage all training-related enquiries and escalate unresolved matters to the appropriate department or team member.
- Monitor training stock and stationery levels and notify the relevant personnel when orders are required.
- Assist with ordering and coordinating training manuals, printing materials, and stationery.
- Support the preparation of trainee folders, training packs, and printed documentation.
- Maintain and update training records for all trainees in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Organize and file training documentation to ensure easy access and accurate record keeping.
- Maintain an efficient and user-friendly filing system for all training records.
- Prepare correspondence and administrative documents when requested.
- Collect, sort, and distribute mail, messages, and deliveries within the department.
- Compile meeting minutes and reports and distribute them when required.
- Arrange venues and meeting rooms for training sessions and departmental meetings.
- Submit travel and expense claims on behalf of team members when necessary.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (Essential).
- 1–2 years of administration experience (Essential).
- Experience within the aviation industry (Desirable).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook (Essential).
- Understanding of aviation training legislation (Advantageous).
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
