About the Role
The Organisational Design Specialist plays a key role in supporting organisational effectiveness through psychometric assessment administration, talent analytics, job profiling, and the development of organisational structures in alignment with business strategy and labour legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, score, interpret, and provide detailed feedback on psychometric assessments in accordance with HPCSA guidelines.
- Make evidence-based recommendations aligned with job profiles and assessment outcomes.
- Maintain and update assessment matrices and assessment databases.
- Support the Organisational Development Manager in facilitating team-building initiatives.
- Provide analytical support to succession planning and talent management processes.
- Compile and maintain talent databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Generate reports and analytics for management review and decision-making.
- Conduct research on assessment methodologies and talent management best practices.
- Support stakeholders in the implementation of organisational development processes.
- Assist in designing project roadmaps to support OD and HR initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of OD frameworks.
- Compile reports evaluating the effectiveness of OD interventions.
- Support data gathering, diagnostics, and preparation of OD project materials.
- Prepare organograms, project trackers, and progress reports.
- Provide insights to support process improvement initiatives and monitor outcomes.
- Conduct job analysis and provide subject matter expertise in job profiling.
- Ensure accurate compilation of job profiles for new and revised positions.
- Facilitate consultation and communication processes related to structural changes.
- Update relevant systems and platforms with approved job profiles.
- Provide expert guidance on organisational structure amendments.
- Obtain necessary approvals for structure changes from the OD Manager and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with job architecture, career paths, and job profiles.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather job profiling and assessment data.
- Coordinate with external service providers where required.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation, including EEA, BCEA, LRA, and POPIA.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
- BCom/BA Degree in Industrial Psychology or related field (Essential).
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Psychometrist (Essential).
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Psychologist (Advantageous).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Organisational Development/Design and Psychometric Assessments within a mid-sized organisation (Essential).
- Specialist experience in at least two of the following areas (Essential):
- End-to-end psychometric processes
- Performance management
- Talent management
- Succession management
- Aviation experience (Advantageous).
- Certification to administer and interpret the following assessments:
- Top Talent Solutions Suite (Essential)
- WRISC (JvR) (Essential)
- CPP (Advantageous)
