Purpose of the Role
The Branch Administrator provides comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and coordination support to the Branch Manager and Area Manager. This role ensures smooth office operations, effective communication, and the efficient management of schedules, reports, and branch activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointments, diary management, and client engagements or events
- Manage office administration and general administrative duties
- Handle e-mail correspondence, written communication, and telephone screening
- Take minutes at selected meetings and maintain accurate records
- Uphold strict confidentiality protocols regarding all correspondence and communication
- Act as an ambassador of the Area Manager’s office and liaise across all levels of the branch
- Consolidate management information and compile weekly and monthly reports
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist with day-to-day operational coordination and resolve queries related to responsibilities
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 with an Administrative/Secretarial post-school qualification
- 3–5 years’ experience as an Administrator reporting to senior management
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP and ePayroll systems is an advantage
- Clear criminal record with no pending cases
- Ability to work extended hours when required
