Job Description

Overview of the Role

The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled while delivering professional and efficient security services that meet client expectations. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role focuses on risk management, operational oversight, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate potential risks and threats, providing recommendations to enhance site security
  • Ensure full compliance with all contractual requirements as agreed with the client
  • Maintain strong and professional relationships between the organisation and the client
  • Oversee the response and investigation of incidents including theft, armed robbery, and unauthorized access
  • Liaise daily with operations management regarding site performance and operational matters
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly incident and operational reports
  • Support operations management and clients with special projects, investigations, and ad hoc requests
  • Manage all site-related administrative functions efficiently
  • Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed and operational requirements are met at all times

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric certificate
  • PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics and warehouse environments
  • At least 10 years’ management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security management
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management systems
  • Strong people management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driver’s licence with reliable transport
  • Clear criminal record
