About the Role:
We are seeking a driven Hybrid Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on sourcing and selling security solutions, including armed monitoring and armed response agreements, alarm system upgrades, CCTV systems, and electric fences to new customers. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and has a strong track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, generate, and close self-sourced sales deals
- Follow up on leads from internal channels and telesales
- Sell comprehensive security solutions to new and existing clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, builders, architects, and other industry partners
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets for both new customers and hardware sales
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Manage all administrative duties related to sales activities
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven sales experience with a track record of success, preferably in capital goods
- Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS and DSC alarm systems is advantageous
- Matric or equivalent
Requirements & Attributes:
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-driven
- Strong selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and time management skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, Email, Internet)
- Presentable with sober habits
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- PSIRA Grade C (advantageous)
- Aptitude for electronic and technical equipment, including alarms and monitoring platforms
- Proactive “hunter” mindset for new business
Performance Standards:
- Meet and exceed revenue sales and new client acquisition targets
- Maintain high-quality relationships with existing estate clients
- Ensure all leads and quotes are followed up promptly
