Job Overview
The Scheduling Agent is responsible for coordinating customer interactions related to Fidelity SecureDrive products and services, ensuring all installations and fitments are completed within the prescribed timeframe. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, resolving scheduling issues, and maintaining high service standards across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive service to customers via phone, email, letter, or face-to-face
- Assist customers with Fidelity SecureDrive products and services, including system setup and training
- Investigate and resolve complex or escalated scheduling and fitment issues, collaborating with technical teams in South Africa, India, and Jamaica
- Generate written and telephonic communication for customers regarding fitments
- Set up and provide usernames and passwords for customers
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Fidelity SecureDrive products and updates
- Manage high volumes of incoming calls and emails efficiently
- Address customer issues or disputes promptly and effectively
- Ensure all customers are scheduled and fitted within agreed SLAs
- Liaise with technicians to follow up on scheduled jobs and ensure completion
- Reschedule appointments when clients are unavailable or request changes
- Assist clients with de-installation processes and device repairs as needed
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant qualification or degree advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in Telematics advantageous
- Understanding of customer service management processes
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain and scheduling impacts
