Job Overview
The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets, maintaining access control, and ensuring compliance with all site-specific security protocols. This role requires vigilance, reliability, and adherence to company standards and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Grade 10
• PSIRA Grade C accredited and registered
• At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry
• No criminal record and willing to undergo regular criminal checks
• Physically fit
• Must reside within the operational area of the position

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrolling and monitor premises to prevent security breaches
• Safeguard personnel, property, and assets
• Control entrance and exit points effectively
• Complete and maintain accurate registers and logs
• Prepare detailed incident and daily reports
• Perform all standard duties as per security training and site requirements

• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and consistently
• Alert, disciplined, and dependable with a professional approach
