End Controller – Cashbuild Vacancies
Job Purpose
The End Controller is responsible for ensuring all stock and fixed asset movements, as well as customer returns, are accurately documented and recorded. This role safeguards store assets while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency.
Requirements

Minimum Grade 12 with 1–2 years’ relevant experience

Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language

Strong numeric skills and attention to detail

Literate and able to work under pressure

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Control
-
Ensure no stock or assets leave the store without proper documentation
-
Verify that all records are complete, accurate, and signed off
-
Record all customer returns in the End Controller book and obtain authorisation

Maintain a backup employee for area coverage during breaks and shift changes

Sign End Control keys in and out daily
Security and Safety
-
Ensure all exit and entry doors are secured when not in use
-
Confirm loading and off-loading shutter doors are closed when idle

Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour or vehicles to management

Conduct random employee checks when leaving the store
Customer Service

Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service when checking in or out customer goods

Direct customers to the appropriate personnel when necessary
Operational Compliance

Maintain adherence to Ready for Business and Beyond My Control processes as per the CB Way

Ensure all operational standards and procedures are followed consistently
