Armed Response Officer – Fidelity Vacancies

Job Purpose

The Armed Response Officer is responsible for providing a professional armed response service to residential and estate clients, ensuring rapid reaction, safety, and protection of people and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency incidents

• Conduct patrols and visible guarding within assigned residential and estate areas

• Ensure the safety and security of clients, staff, and assets

• Complete accurate incident and response reports

• Maintain firearms and equipment in accordance with legal and company standards

• Adhere strictly to operational procedures and response protocols

• Communicate effectively with control room and operational teams

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate

• PSIRA Grade B accreditation and registration with response capability

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry

• Valid firearm competency for business purposes (handgun)

• Valid driver’s licence

• No criminal record and willingness to undergo regular criminal checks

• Physically fit, in good health, and comfortable working at heights

• Computer literacy is an advantage

• Proven estate or residential security experience

• Must reside within reasonable travelling distance to the operational area
