Job Purpose

The Armed Response Officer Rustenburg is responsible for responding to alarm activations, safeguarding clients and assets, and delivering a professional armed response service within designated residential and estate areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to alarm activations

• Conduct patrols and visible armed response duties

• Secure premises and ensure the safety of clients and property

• Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately

• Adhere to all operational procedures, safety standards, and legal requirements

• Maintain readiness of firearms, equipment, and response vehicles

Minimum Requirements

• Matric

• PSIRA registered Grade B with armed response

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the security industry

• Valid firearm competency (handgun for business purposes)

• Valid driver’s licence

• Estate or residential security experience

• No criminal record and willing to undergo regular criminal checks

• Physically fit and in good health, comfortable working at heights

• Computer literacy advantageous
