Job Purpose:
Deliver exceptional service by providing expert advice on beauty and skincare products, promoting and managing merchandise effectively, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping to build customer loyalty and drive sales.

Job Objectives:

  • Consult with customers, answer product-related questions, and recommend products and services that best meet their needs.
  • Maximize beauty department sales through promotion, cross-selling, and upselling to consistently achieve monthly targets.
  • Monitor product performance, evaluate sales data, and suggest improvements to enhance product offerings and increase revenue.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all beauty products, trends, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Execute all operational activities within the beauty department, including stock management, minimizing shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and administration.
  • Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards are consistently maintained.
  • Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador by being visible, approachable, and professional.
  • Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to achieve participation targets.
  • Increase profitability and brand loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
  • Support Clicks as the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Grade 12
  • Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
  • Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Understanding and application of selling principles
  • Retail/FMCG experience with merchandising and promotions knowledge
  • Stock management skills
  • Knowledge of customer service excellence
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products
  • Results and target-driven
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
