Introduction
A position is available for a Branch Administrator based in Robertville, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver efficient coordination, administrative, and secretarial support to the Area Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations within the branch.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Post-school qualification in Administration or Secretarial Studies
- 3–5 years’ experience in an administrative role supporting senior management
- Ability to work extended hours when required
- Clear criminal record with no pending cases
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SAP and ePayroll systems will be advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage conflict effectively
- Capable of working under pressure and handling work-related stress
- Strong ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivated, energetic, and proactive
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diaries, appointments, and coordinate meetings, events, and client engagements
- Perform general office administration and support daily branch operations
- Handle email correspondence and ensure effective written communication
- Screen incoming calls, take messages, and direct queries appropriately
- Record and compile minutes during meetings when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all correspondence and sensitive information
- Liaise with staff across various levels and represent the Area Manager’s office professionally
- Compile, consolidate, and manage reports and management information
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports
- Type documents, create reports, and prepare presentations
- Assist with queries and support coordination of operational activities
