Job Description
Fidelity Vacancies is seeking a skilled and vigilant CCTV Controller to support security operations through effective monitoring and management of surveillance systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises by identifying and responding to suspicious activities and potential security risks in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple CCTV screens to detect suspicious behaviour and security breaches
• Operate surveillance cameras to focus on specific areas or individuals when required
• Report incidents, irregularities, or risks to security personnel or relevant authorities promptly
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all surveillance activities and incidents
• Perform routine checks to ensure CCTV equipment is functioning correctly
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to CCTV systems
• Support investigations by working closely with security teams and external authorities when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and surveillance regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate
• Valid PSIRA registration (Grade A or B)
• Proven experience as a CCTV Controller or in a similar surveillance role
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring technology
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
• Excellent observation and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of relevant security regulations and standard operating procedures
• Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
