About the Role
Pepkor Vacancies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Channel Growth Manager to lead the growth journey of the 1Voucher App and expand performance across all 1Voucher card channels. This role is responsible for driving measurable growth in users, engagement, and market presence through digital campaigns, partnerships, and in-store initiatives.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, the Channel Growth Manager will take full ownership of growth strategy, execution, and performance—turning opportunities into impactful results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive user acquisition and activation by planning and executing targeted campaigns to increase app downloads and registrations
  • Develop engagement and retention strategies, including push notifications, SMS campaigns, and personalised offers to encourage consistent app usage
  • Lead growth experimentation through A/B testing to optimise user journeys, messaging, incentives, and conversion rates
  • Manage performance marketing and analytics by tracking key metrics such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), and transaction volumes
  • Collaborate with product, technology, marketing, and digital teams to implement features that support growth objectives
  • Build and manage partnerships with external merchants and strategic partners to drive product adoption through co-branded initiatives
  • Take ownership of product growth by supporting new product launches, including distribution strategy development and execution
  • Assist with go-to-market planning, rollout, and continuous optimisation of distribution channels
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance and growth initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product and marketing management, preferably within fintech, financial services, retail, or technology sectors
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful growth strategies for fintech products, including VAS, crypto, banking, or payments

Required Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with experience in Excel and data visualisation tools
  • Understanding of the mobile ecosystem, including app store optimisation (ASO), mobile engagement, and digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and social media channels
  • Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
