About the Role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Delmas is seeking a dedicated CJM Driver to join the CJ Distribution team in Midrand. This role is responsible for the safe and timely movement of company equipment, stock, products, and other items to designated locations.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Valid Driver’s License
- 2–3 years’ experience as a company driver
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Pick-Up:
- Safely transport products to various locations in a timely and courteous manner
- Ensure correct products are delivered within specified timeframes
- Use the shortest and most effective delivery routes
- Return to the office after deliveries to maximize vehicle usage
- Be accountable for all damages and losses during delivery
- Comply with company standards for efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed and signed
- Maintain all required vehicle logbooks
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Keep the vehicle clean inside and out
- Never leave the delivery vehicle unattended during trips
- Conduct inspections for defects and safe operation before, during, and after trips
- Report any concerns, accidents, or incidents to management
- Follow road traffic rules and regulations, and take responsibility for traffic fines
Customer Service:
- Build and maintain efficient relationships with internal and external customers
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service to clients and suppliers
- Report complaints, requests, and feedback to management
Sales Operations Support:
- Assist with picking, counting, boxing, and wrapping stock for shipment
- Label and dispatch promotional material
- Clean stock rooms and stock areas
- Assist in stocktaking
- Maintain pool cars (washing, vacuuming, checking water and oil levels)
General Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Dis-Chem policies, SOPs, and uniform requirements
- Follow all health and safety rules and regulations

Special Conditions of Employment:
- Daily travel, packing, distribution, and parcel collection
