Purpose and Objectives

Lead and manage a diverse distribution centre team to ensure compliance with policies, processes and productivity targets.

Facilitate daily SGM meetings and address performance gaps and training needs to drive continuous improvement.

Manage employee performance against productivity standards and implement corrective action where required.

Plan and allocate staffing requirements based on operational volumes and approved budgets.

Compile, review and manage daily and weekly operational reports.
-
Ensure full compliance with statutory health and safety regulations, housekeeping standards and internal policies.

Maintain accurate and timely completion of the departmental KPI board.

Achieve departmental KPIs within planned budgets and schedules, ensuring effective shift handovers.

Deliver consistently high service levels to internal and external customers.

Live and embed the Brand’s values within the team.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
-
Matric / NQF Level 4 (Essential).
-
Relevant tertiary qualification (Advantageous).
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
