Tiger Brands is seeking a highly experienced Digital Transformation Manager to lead and drive Finance Digital Transformation initiatives across key pillars of the business. This role is responsible for delivering automation, process optimization, operational excellence, and sustainable financial efficiencies.
As the strategic lead and primary representative for Finance Digital Transformation, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to design and execute a future-focused digital finance strategy. You will also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), conducting end-to-end digital process analysis and modelling, identifying risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Finance Digital Transformation strategy and roadmap aligned with Tiger Brands’ business and digital objectives
• Drive automation across finance functions by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing opportunities within Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Customer Service & Logistics, and Financial Reporting
• Enable advanced technologies by partnering with Tiger IT and business units to deploy and optimize RPA, AI, and ERP system enhancements
• Optimize financial processes by streamlining workflows, reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and increasing operational efficiency
• Lead change management efforts by championing transformation initiatives, ensuring stakeholder buy-in, and driving adoption across departments
• Ensure governance and compliance by maintaining adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks
• Measure impact and ROI by defining, tracking, and reporting performance metrics for digital transformation and automation initiatives
Key Attributes and Competencies
• Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen with the ability to align digital finance initiatives to long-term organizational goals
• Digital and Technology Expertise, including strong knowledge of RPA, AI, ERP platforms, data analytics tools, and digital transformation best practices
• Process Optimization and Analytical Skills with expertise in process mapping, workflow redesign, risk evaluation, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement skills, with the ability to lead transformation, manage resistance, and influence diverse stakeholder groups
• Project Management and Execution capabilities, delivering complex transformation programs on time, within scope, and within budget
Experience and Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in digital transformation or finance technology leadership roles
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance
• Proven track record of leading large-scale change management initiatives and driving cross-functional stakeholder alignment
• Experience in risk management, compliance, and governance within digital transformation programs
