End Controller – Cashbuild Vacancies

Job Description
The End Controller is responsible for ensuring that all stock and fixed asset movements are properly authorised, checked, and recorded when goods leave or are returned to the store. The role supports asset protection, accurate record-keeping, and a secure store environment while delivering professional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12 with at least 1 year relevant work experience, or 2 years related experience

• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language

• Literacy with strong numerical skills

• Proven attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively under pressure

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Performance Areas

End Control Operations

• Ensure no goods leave the store without valid and authorised documentation

• Verify that all documentation is completed accurately, including dates, times, sequences, and signatures

• Ensure all customer returns are correctly authorised and recorded in the End Controller register

• Maintain adequate backup coverage for the area during shift changes, breaks, and leave

• Sign End Control keys in and out daily

• Ensure all entry and exit doors are closed when not in use

• Ensure loading and off-loading shutter doors remain closed when not in use

• Report all suspicious behaviour or vehicles to Store Management

• Conduct random employee searches in line with company policy

Customer Service

• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service when checking customer goods in and out

• Direct customers to the appropriate team member for further assistance when required
