Join Truworths’ in-house Fashion Studio and play a central role in shaping the future of Ladieswear, Menswear, and Kidswear. The Fashion Designer will analyze global trends sourced from international fashion fairs and trend institutes, while monitoring key fashion markets in the USA, UK, and Europe. Using this insight, you will create innovative, trend-led designs that define each Truworths brand for the upcoming season.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and translate global fashion trends into new colours, fabrics, styles, and trims for seasonal collections
• Collaborate with Buyers, Planners, and Merchandise teams to inspire and guide product development
• Develop exclusive ranges of garments with limited quantities to ensure uniqueness and desirability
• Apply creative expertise to enhance brand identity and maintain competitive advantage in the market

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably 5 years of design experience within fashion retail or creative manufacturing
• Candidates with combined experience in fashion buying and design are also considered, demonstrating strong creative and commercial understanding

Competencies

• Proficiency in design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, and CAD
• Strong product-focused design skills with an eye for detail
• Ability to communicate, energize, and inspire cross-functional teams
• Creative, trend-aware, and innovative mindset
