About the Program
Value Logistics is looking for a high-energy Forecourt Sales Representative to grow sales within petrol station forecourts and convenience retail outlets. This role thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and focuses on building strong partnerships, driving availability, and maximising sales across beverage and snack categories.

Purpose of the Job
The Forecourt Sales Representative is responsible for managing and expanding sales within the forecourt and convenience channel. The role requires strong knowledge of forecourt operations, excellent relationship management, and the ability to drive performance in environments with frequent stock turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow forecourt and convenience retail accounts within beverage and snack categories
  • Manage and grow private label product ranges
  • Deliver high-frequency service to ensure consistent availability and merchandising standards
  • Build strong working relationships with site managers and forecourt teams
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent out-of-stocks
  • Execute promotional activations and manage sales in line with approved promotions
  • Ensure point-of-sale execution meets agreed standards at all forecourt sites
  • Track SKU performance, especially fast-moving lines, and recommend range optimisation
  • Provide insights into forecourt consumer buying behaviour to inform sales strategy
  • Execute visits according to route plans, prioritising forecourts and meeting NDD commitments
  • Support credit control processes and reconcile on-site transactions and payments
  • Compile and present activity and performance reports specific to the forecourt channel

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5–10 years’ sales experience, with at least 3 years in forecourt or convenience sales
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven sales performance over the past 12 months
