Job Description
The General Assistant is responsible for delivering superior customer service while supporting store operations to achieve optimal turnover results. This role focuses on effective merchandise presentation, teamwork, stock replenishment, and maintaining high housekeeping standards to ensure an excellent shopping experience.

Minimum Requirements
• Matric (Grade 12).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to plan and manage daily tasks effectively.
• Computer literacy.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and tolerate stress.
• High level of integrity and initiative.

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
• Ensure effective merchandise replenishment and housekeeping.
• Implement store and department layouts according to company standards.
• Protect all company assets, including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain correct administration procedures for stockroom activities, including mark-downs and lay-byes.
