Job Description
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Health Consultant specialising in Vitamins and Supplements for their La Lucia store. The successful candidate will promote and sell Dis-Chem Health Focus products while providing exceptional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Minimum 6 months sales experience in a Vitamins or Health environment
• Strong command of English
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Sound numerical skills
• Willing and able to work retail hours

Advantageous:

• Qualification in BSc Biomedicine, BSc Biotechnology, or relevant health focus qualification
• Sales experience in a retail environment
• Experience in the health industry (vitamins, supplements, or health foods)
• Fluent in a second local language

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and advise customers, ensuring high standards of customer care and service.
• Support back shopping to maintain smooth department and store operations.
• Keep Health Focus merchandise displays stocked, faced up, and visually appealing.
• Report price discrepancies to management promptly.
• Follow store layouts, planograms, and merchandising standards within the Health Department.
• Ensure broadsheet items are displayed, promoted, and available at all times.
• Implement promotional displays and merchandising materials.
• Achieve monthly team, brand, and vendor sales targets.
• Stay updated on new products and product lines.
• Follow Health Department administrative procedures, including weekly returns, stock control, and monitoring stock levels.
