Introduction

A vacancy exists for an Investigator reporting to the Investigations Manager within Governance, Risk, and Compliance. The role involves independently conducting thorough and professional investigations, ensuring all findings are accurate, evidence-based, and compliant with legal and organizational requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant formal qualification advantageous
• Proven investigation experience essential
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Willingness to travel as required
• Valid passport
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet use
• Clear criminal record with no pending cases
• Strong command of the English language
• Knowledge of Fidelity Security Group (FSG) environment advantageous

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with employees relevant to each case
• Collect and preserve all evidence legally and accurately
• Collaborate effectively with SAPS, FSG Legal, claims department, and other stakeholders, including polygraph examiners
• Prepare detailed investigation reports that are accurate and fully supported by evidence
• Maintain proper filing and archiving of investigation documentation
• Ensure investigations are completed within deadlines
• Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of all reports and information
• Keep all investigation records updated and readily accessible
• Willingness to work overtime when required
