Pick n Pay Careers is seeking a skilled and experienced Manager Bakery to oversee all bakery operations, ensuring optimal turnover, minimal shortages, and compliance with company standards, processes, and policies. This role also manages hygiene, safety, and overall performance within the bakery department.

Minimum Requirements:

• NQF Level 3 Bakery qualification
• Experience as a Baker, Bakery Supervisor, or Bakery Manager

Competencies:

• Achieving results through effective team leadership
• Planning, organising, and following up on activities and production plans
• Strong adherence to company standards and policies
• Customer-focused approach
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening
• Business acumen and analytical skills
• Advanced bakery and production planning knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee merchandising within the bakery to ensure product quality and presentation
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage customer interactions
• Lead, manage, and develop bakery staff for optimal performance
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
• Manage stock and inventory using SAP, ensuring accurate records and availability
