Job Overview
The Marketing Manager Consultant is responsible for driving top-line growth and achieving budgeted targets for the brand. This role holds full accountability for brand performance, providing clear strategic direction to teams and ensuring consistent execution. The Marketing Manager Consultant plays a key role in aligning stakeholders, driving accountability, and delivering sustainable commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line growth and deliver brand budget targets

  • Take full ownership of brand strategy, performance, and execution

  • Provide clear brand direction and leadership to cross-functional teams

  • Ensure effective delivery of marketing plans and hold teams accountable for outcomes

  • Manage brand P&L with a strong focus on ROI and commercial performance

  • Filter, translate, and cascade top-down strategic feedback into actionable plans

  • Collaborate across functions to deliver integrated business and marketing initiatives

  • Manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring quality and timeliness

  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage conflict constructively

Qualifications

  • Three-year degree in Marketing or a Business-related field

  • Honours or post-graduate qualification in Marketing is an advantage

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Brand Management within an FMCG environment

  • 1 to 2 years’ experience managing individuals or leading a marketing team

  • Proven experience in P&L management and ROI-driven decision-making

  • Strong ability to translate strategic direction into clear, executable actions

  • Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional teams

  • Advanced written, verbal, and listening communication skills

  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong project management capability

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel

  • Proven commercial acumen and strategic mindset

  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities

  • Previous experience in conflict management
