Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients within target markets
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and digital platforms
- Maintain and update a strong pipeline of prospects using CRM systems
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
- Initiate and maintain contact with prospective clients via calls, emails, and meetings
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Conduct needs analysis to understand client challenges and business goals
Sales Presentations and Solution Delivery
- Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals
- Clearly communicate the value of products and services
- Address objections and respond effectively to client queries
Negotiation and Closing
- Prepare pricing structures and contract terms aligned with company guidelines
- Negotiate agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Close deals and ensure timely finalization of contracts
Market Research and Insights
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
- Analyse data to identify new business opportunities
- Provide feedback to internal teams to enhance product and marketing strategies
Sales Reporting and Administration
- Track sales performance, pipeline progress, and activity metrics
- Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
- Communicate client expectations clearly to relevant stakeholders
- Align with marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive sales success
Performance Management
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Continuously assess performance and identify areas for improvement
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or business development
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel when required
- Experience in payments or retail industry is advantageous
