Job Description
The Organisational Design Specialist supports the design, implementation, and optimisation of organisational structures, talent processes, and assessment practices to enable business effectiveness and workforce alignment.
Key Responsibilities

Administer, score, interpret, and provide detailed feedback on psychometric assessments in line with HPCSA guidelines.

Make evidence-based recommendations aligned to job profiles and assessment outcomes.

Maintain and update assessment matrices and assessment databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Provide analytical support to succession planning and talent management initiatives.
-
Compile, manage, and update talent information databases and dashboards.
-
Generate analytics, insights, and reports for management and senior leadership review.

Assist the OD Manager in facilitating team-building and organisational effectiveness sessions.
-
Conduct research on assessment methodologies and organisational development best practices.
-
Support stakeholders with the implementation of organisational design and OD processes.
-
Contribute to the design of project roadmaps supporting OD and HR initiatives.
-
Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of OD frameworks and interventions.
-
Compile reports assessing the effectiveness and impact of OD initiatives.
-
Support OD interventions through data gathering, diagnostics, and preparation of project materials.
-
Prepare and maintain organograms, project trackers, and progress reports.
-
Identify opportunities for process improvement and monitor implementation outcomes.
-
Conduct job analysis and provide subject matter expertise on job profiling and role design.
-
Ensure job profiles are developed and updated for all new or changed roles in accordance with standards.

Facilitate consultation and communication processes related to organisational changes.
-
Update relevant systems and platforms with approved organisational and job profile changes.
-
Provide expert input on organisational structure changes and obtain required approvals.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with job architecture, career paths, and job profiles.
-
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect assessment and job profiling information.
-
Coordinate with external service providers where required.
-
Ensure full compliance with South African labour legislation, including EEA, BCEA, LRA, and POPIA.

Perform additional duties reasonably aligned to the role in support of operational requirements.
Job Requirements
-
Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
-
BCom or BA Degree in Industrial Psychology or a related field (Essential).
-
Registered with the HPCSA as a Psychometrist (Essential).
-
HPCSA registration as a Psychologist (Advantageous).
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Organisational Design/Development and Psychometric Assessments within a mid-sized organisation (Essential).

Specialist experience in at least two of the following areas (Essential):

End-to-end psychometric assessments
-
Performance management
-
Talent management
-
Succession management
-
-
Aviation industry experience (Advantageous).

Certified to administer and interpret the following assessments:

Top Talent Solutions suite (Essential)

WRISC (JvR) (Essential)
-
CPP (Advantageous)
-
