Introduction
As a Pharmacist at Clicks, you will ensure the efficient operation of the dispensary while delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. Your role will contribute to sales and compliance targets, enhancing the brand’s competitive advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Objectives:
- Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, including accurate and safe dispensing, generic substitution, and professional advice in line with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- Manage all dispensary operations efficiently, including stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping, and administration in compliance with SAPC regulations and company standards.
- Focus on core dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational viability.
- Oversee the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns, ensuring competence and motivation in line with SAPC requirements.
- Deliver superior customer service initiatives in the dispensary to enhance customer experience, loyalty, and club card participation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres, to achieve business objectives and maximise opportunities.
- Integrate and partner with the clinic and healthcare aisle to provide customers with a comprehensive healthcare offering.
- Support Clicks’ vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values.
