Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to ensure the efficient operation of our dispensary and deliver service excellence through high standards of pharmaceutical care. This role is key in achieving sales and compliance targets while maintaining a competitive advantage for the Clicks brand.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

  • Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and provide professional advice in line with Clicks’ way of working, good pharmacy practice, and SAPC regulations.
  • Efficiently manage all dispensary operations, including stock control, shrinkage, housekeeping, and administration, adhering to SAPC regulations and company standards.
  • Focus on dispensary and clinic targets to ensure operational viability.
  • Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns, ensuring competence in line with SAPC requirements.
  • Implement customer service initiatives to enhance the dispensary experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres, to meet business objectives and maximise opportunities.
  • Ensure integration with the clinic and healthcare aisle, providing a comprehensive offering to customers for their healthcare needs.
  • Support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by living and promoting company values.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Essential: Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
  • Desirable: Retail pharmacy experience
  • Desirable: Experience with Unisolve systems
