Job Description
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-office experience while supporting access control, administration, and corporate services operations.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist all visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.

Operate the switchboard by receiving, screening, and directing incoming calls accurately and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area in line with company standards.

Coordinate outgoing deliveries and courier collections to support effective communication flow.

Create and issue access permits in accordance with FlySafair and ACSA security procedures.

Manage the end-to-end ACSA permit application and renewal process for employees and contractors.

Issue crew cards to new and existing employees.

Monitor permit expiry dates and ensure timely reprints and distribution across all bases.

Liaise with ACSA offices and internal departments to coordinate documentation, appointments, and approvals.

Provide front-desk support and respond to queries related to access permits and visitor access.

Maintain and update the access permit database, ensuring accurate employee details, photographs, access levels, and expiry dates.

Monitor and maintain the company vehicle logbook in line with usage policies.

Coordinate and administer company car wash schedules.

Provide general administrative support to the HR and Corporate Services teams as required.
Job Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (Essential).

Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or a related field (Advantageous).

1–2 years’ experience in a receptionist, front-office, helpdesk, or administrative support role (Essential).

Experience in an aviation, corporate, or customer service environment (Advantageous).

Exposure to switchboard operations, visitor management systems, or access control processes (Advantageous).
