About the Role:
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and achieving revenue targets by identifying and managing clients that fit DSV’s ideal client profile. This role involves building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, managing daily productivity, and delivering consistent results aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a pipeline of clients aligned with DSV’s vertical approach
- Manage an effective diary to maximize productivity and achieve activity targets
- Deliver revenue results in line with defined sales targets
- Maintain professional communication and relationships with clients and senior management
- Prepare and deliver presentations as required
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
- Tertiary qualifications advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a commercial or operational role within the logistics environment
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics advantageous
- Ability to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Professional appearance and conduct
