Job Description
Clicks Group is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Shop Assistant / Cashier to provide excellent service at the point of sale. The role is responsible for accurate transaction processing, promoting the Clicks clubcard, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.

Job Objectives

• Accurately and efficiently execute all point-of-sale operational activities
• Scan merchandise and process payments, including clubcard rewards, with precision
• Ensure the safe handling and management of cash at all times
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet participation targets
• Inform customers about promotions to drive sales and enhance their shopping experience
• Deliver outstanding customer service as a visible and approachable brand ambassador
• Maintain merchandising standards and perform housekeeping duties according to store guidelines
• Support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s preferred health and beauty retailer by exemplifying company values
• Stay informed on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers

Knowledge

• Basic mathematics calculations
• Retail or FMCG background with understanding of merchandising and promotions principles
