Introduction
As a Shop Assistant / Cashier at Clicks, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, managing point of sale (POS) operations, and maintaining merchandising standards to ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

• Execute all POS operations efficiently and accurately.
• Scan merchandise and process payments with high accuracy, including managing clubcard rewards.
• Ensure safe handling of cash at all times.
• Actively promote the Clicks clubcard and enroll new members to meet participation targets.
• Inform customers about current promotions to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide friendly, professional service while acting as a Clicks brand ambassador.
• Maintain merchandising and housekeeping standards according to store and visual guidelines.
• Support Clicks’ vision to be the customer’s first choice in health and beauty by living the company values.
• Stay updated on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.

Knowledge:

• Basic mathematics calculations.
• Retail/FMCG experience with knowledge of merchandising and promotions principles.
• Understanding of stock management procedures.
• Knowledge of customer service excellence.
