Job Purpose
OK Furniture, a division of the Shoprite Group, is seeking a dedicated Stock Clerk to join its Administration Team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced furniture retail environment and takes full ownership of maintaining an accurate stock ledger at store level while supporting excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and control an accurate stock ledger at store level
• Analyse and resolve stock discrepancies, exceptions, and variances
• Ensure all stock movements are captured accurately and on time
• Capture all Service Department production on the Blue Cube system
• Maintain in-stock availability at all times
• Perform daily management receiving checks
Qualifications
• National Senior Certificate
Desirable
• Administration or Sales Management training
• Trainee Manager training
• Cost Control Diploma
Experience
• 1–2 years’ related experience
• Retail or furniture environment experience will be advantageous
Knowledge and Skills
• 6–12 months’ knowledge of retail furniture operations will be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused mindset
