Stock & Compliance Team Leader – Job Description
- Analyse stock reports to prioritise stock checks, identify discrepancies, and highlight areas for follow-up
- Ensure operational processes are consistently followed, providing on-the-floor support and corrective guidance to the team
- Review and validate recorded stock data to maintain accuracy and compliance with procedures
- Compile and submit management reports summarising stock count results, variances, compliance findings, and recommendations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the team, resolving queries and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations
- Follow up on reported discrepancies and compliance issues promptly
- Support ad hoc stock control and compliance activities to ensure operational continuity
- Provide daily guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Deliver continuous feedback to operational teams to enhance stock accuracy, compliance, and workflow efficiency
- Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the team
- Assess and optimise team performance for maximum efficiency
- Engage with flight crew, catering partners, and operational teams to clarify stock-related queries and resolve discrepancies in real time
- Communicate stock variances, sealing issues, procedural gaps, and non-compliance findings to relevant stakeholders clearly
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on stock handling and compliance requirements as part of daily operations
- Facilitate coordination between the Stock & Compliance team and external partners during stock count activities
Stock & Compliance Team Leader – Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant Diploma or Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a mid-sized organisation
- Strong understanding of stock control procedures, stock counting, and data verification
- Awareness of compliance and operational standards related to stock handling, trolley sealing, and secure storage
