Store Designer – Truworths Careers

Truworths is seeking a talented Store Designer to join our Store Design Department. This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative and engaging retail spaces that reflect our brand identity, enhance customer experience, and support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Store Design & Layout

• Develop creative store layouts and floor plans aligned with brand aesthetics and operational requirements.
• Maximize product display and optimize customer traffic flow to drive sales.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Tenant Coordinators, Architects, Project Managers, Visual Display, Marketing, Operations, and Suppliers to ensure cohesive execution of store designs.

3D Visualization

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design tools.

Brand Alignment

• Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all locations.

Project Management

• Assist in selecting materials, finishes, fixtures, flooring, and lighting in line with design vision and budget.
• Manage project timelines, costs, and deliverables to ensure successful store launches.

Post-Opening Evaluation

• Review completed store builds and recommend design improvements.
• Stay updated on retail design trends and incorporate innovative ideas to enhance store experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail or commercial design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
