The Trainee Bakery Manager is responsible for managing bakery resources to maximise turnover and minimise shortages, while ensuring all standards, processes, and policies are consistently followed. This role provides a valuable opportunity for career growth toward becoming a Bakery Manager.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a baker
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience is advantageous
• Preferably an NQF 3 Bakery qualification

• Business acumen and understanding of bakery operations
• Bakery skills with production planning expertise

• Manage bakery merchandising and product presentation
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Deliver excellent customer service in the bakery
• Lead, coach, and motivate bakery staff
• Handle administrative tasks and reporting efficiently
• Utilise SAP system for stock management and other operational tasks
