Job Summary
BOXER is looking for a dynamic and results-driven VAS Operations Specialist to play a key role in enhancing value-added services across our retail operations. This position is central to driving innovation, empowering store teams, and unlocking new opportunities that improve the overall customer experience. The VAS Operations Specialist will work closely with stores to ensure successful implementation, growth, and optimisation of VAS products and services while supporting the organisation’s strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Retail Store Operations or a related field
• 2 to 3 years’ experience in a retail environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel extensively
• Good understanding of the BOXER brand, company policies, and relevant regulations such as BBBEE and SASSA
Duties and Responsibilities
• Deliver training and ongoing operational support to store teams on VAS products and services
• Advise stores on effective strategies to increase product awareness, usage, and customer uptake
• Manage and support the rollout and implementation of new VAS offerings across stores
• Identify opportunities for new business development and continuous process improvement
• Support new store openings and refurbishment projects to ensure VAS readiness and compliance
