Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Role
• The Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily vehicle activity, managing incidents, and ensuring accurate reporting
• Support operational efficiency by identifying issues early and ensuring prompt resolution to minimise downtime
• Maintain high standards of compliance, communication, safety, and professionalism

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Monitoring and Incident Management
• Monitor vehicle movements in line with company procedures
• Identify, record, and report all deviations and exceptions promptly
• Ensure all system alarms are acknowledged and resolved within required timeframes
• Respond to incidents and accidents professionally, following company protocols

Communication and Reporting
• Obtain daily route sheets from relevant departments
• Accurately capture and maintain operational and vehicle performance data
• Compile and distribute reports to stakeholders within required timelines
• Ensure all incidents and irregular activities are properly logged and reported

Fault Management and Vehicle Repairs
• Update and track vehicle faults daily within the system
• Communicate all faults to relevant teams or departments
• Follow up on reported issues to ensure timely and effective repairs
• Monitor progress to minimise vehicle downtime

Operational Support
• Assist with general operational tasks as required
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with staff, clients, and external stakeholders
• Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards

Housekeeping, Health and Safety
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and safe working practices

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
