Job Purpose

Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive in-store engagement, supported by sound knowledge of health, wellness and supplement products.
Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate advice on healthcare, nutritional and supplement products.

Drive healthcare and wellness sales by promoting a wide range of brands through effective cross-selling and up-selling to achieve sales targets.

Maintain optimal stock availability within the healthcare aisles by adhering to stock management principles and procedures.
-
Reduce wastage by following correct stock rotation and expiry management practices.
-
Prevent stock losses by complying with all risk management policies and controls.
-
Uphold high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation to create an attractive shopping environment.

Support effective merchandising by implementing approved merchandising guidelines and in-store standards.

Adhere to all store standard operating procedures and policies.
-
Maintain and grow product knowledge, sharing information with colleagues to ensure consistent customer service delivery.
Minimum Requirements
Education
-
Matric with a minimum of 50% in English.
-
Pass in Life Science or Physics.
-
Sports, fitness or nutrition qualification is advantageous.
Job Experience
-
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.

Experience working with sports nutrition and vitamin products.
-
Proven selling experience and customer-related training.
Job Related Knowledge

Basic knowledge of health, fitness and supplement products.

Understanding of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising and risk control.
