Job Objectives:
- Deliver exceptional customer service through in-store visibility and proactive engagement, using knowledge of health, fitness, and supplement products.
- Consult with customers and provide suitable advice on healthcare, nutritional, and supplement products.
- Drive healthcare sales by promoting a wide range of brands, cross-selling, and upselling to increase profitability.
- Ensure stock availability in the healthcare aisles by following stock management principles and procedures to support sales.
- Minimize wastage by adhering to stock rotation practices and prevent stock losses by following risk management policies.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to create an appealing shopping environment.
- Assist in product merchandising by following established guidelines and procedures.
- Adhere to all store standard operating procedures.
- Support continuity of service by developing product knowledge and sharing information with relief staff.
Minimum Requirements
Job Knowledge:
- Essential: Basic knowledge of health, fitness, and supplements
- Essential: Understanding of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and risk management
Job-Related Skills:
- Essential: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Essential: Customer-focused and service-oriented
- Essential: Selling and merchandising skills
- Desirable: Basic computer literacy
Job Experience:
- Essential: Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Essential: Experience with sports nutrition and vitamin-related products
- Essential: Selling skills and customer service training
Education:
- Essential: Matric (50% pure/60% lit)
- Essential: English 50%
- Essential: Pass in Life Science or Physics
- Desirable: Qualification in sports, fitness, or nutrition
