Job Purpose
-
Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care through accurate, safe dispensing practices, including generic substitution and professional advice, in line with UniCare standards, good pharmacy practice and SAPC legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide professional pharmaceutical services and patient counselling within the legal scope of practice as defined by the South African Pharmacy Council.

Execute all dispensary operations efficiently, including responsible stock management, shrinkage control, housekeeping and administrative duties in accordance with company standards and SAPC regulations.

Support the development, training and supervision of Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns in compliance with SAPC requirements when required.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with the clinic and healthcare departments to ensure a comprehensive healthcare offering to customers.

Live and promote the Group’s values in support of the vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
-
Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) Degree.
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience post community service.
-
Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
