Store Manager

Job Purpose:
Lead and manage a store team to achieve business objectives, including driving sales, controlling costs, reducing risks and stock loss, overseeing administration, and maintaining exceptional store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase sales through excellent customer service, strong store presentation, effective stock management, and successful promotional implementation.
• Minimise stock loss by promoting a positive store culture and adhering to security, stock, and cash handling procedures.
• Manage store costs by driving efficiencies and supporting the company’s low-cost culture.
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in line with company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop a dynamic team, taking responsibility for training, performance, and engagement.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the store.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Proficient in English.
• Tertiary education in business or retail (degree or diploma) is an advantage.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a retail leadership role preferred.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite) is beneficial.
