Truworths is seeking a proactive Sourcing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fashion environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth coordination of sourcing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Sourcing Co-ordinators with compiling “new brief packs.”
- Coordinate outward and inward bound parcels.
- Record movements of garments, swatches, artwork, and colour submissions in the GIS system.
- Manage the transfer of garments for fit sessions and ensure availability for reviews or showings.
- Liaise with Vendors and Buyers on day-to-day sourcing matters.
- Support internal payment system activities and local packaging orders.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the sourcing team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Grade 12.
- 2 to 3 years’ administration or clerical experience, ideally within a clothing retailer or importer.
- Computer literate (Excel, Word).

- Ability to work under pressure with high energy and self-motivation.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent team orientation and collaboration.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
