Responsibilities
As a Van Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing PepsiCo’s business in your assigned territory by achieving revenue and volume targets while maintaining cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

Sales & Distribution

  • Visit and service all assigned customers according to schedule.
  • Sell and distribute assigned categories, including promotions and new products.
  • Implement execution standards by channel and attract new customers.
  • Record sales and invoice customers accurately using PepsiCo systems.
  • Collect cash and Proof of Delivery (POD) where applicable.

Merchandising & Inventory Management

  • Manage stock levels and rotate products on shelves to maximize sales and minimize returns.
  • Execute point-of-sale materials and ensure PepsiCo assets are used appropriately.
  • Ensure effective crate management to reduce loss.

Vehicle & Safety Compliance

  • Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain cleanliness and mechanical readiness.
  • Follow all traffic, safety, and company regulations, including Health & Safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle stock, returns, and damaged goods.

Behavior & Company Standards

  • Model PepsiCo Way behaviors in all interactions.
  • Support daily end-of-day settlement processes.

Qualifications

  • Matric certificate.
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license with PDP.
  • Strong driving skills, including training in defensive driving.
  • Exceptional attendance and disciplinary record.
  • Proven ability to execute sales plans, build strong customer relationships, identify selling opportunities, and communicate effectively.
