About the Role
Sab Vacancies is seeking a reliable and organized Engineering Stores Clerk to support the efficient management of engineering spare parts and materials within the plant. The role involves receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing engineering goods while ensuring compliance with inventory procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Receiving and Handling of Engineering Spares
- Receive engineering spares and goods delivered to the plant.
- Inspect and perform quality checks on all incoming engineering parts and materials.
- Ensure correct binning, labeling, and storage of items within the stores area.
Stores Control and Management
- Follow established store management procedures and operational practices.
- Maintain proper control of goods received and issued through approved systems.
- Ensure accurate handling, storage, and organization of engineering spares and materials.
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
- Apply SHEQ procedures consistently in daily operations.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety are maintained.
Quality and Team Collaboration
- Support and promote a strong culture of quality and food safety excellence.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Communicate effectively within the team and across departments.
- Contribute to continuous self-development and team growth.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- Minimum of 3 months on-the-job training in a similar environment
